International Finance Controller (Mumbai)

About the role

The International Finance Controller will lead end‑to‑end financial accounting, reporting and controllership for a group of international entities based in Mumbai. This senior position ensures accurate financial closures, compliance with Indian and international regulations, and supports strategic finance initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial closures and consolidated reporting for all entities.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks, SOPs and compliance mechanisms.
• Ensure adherence to Companies Act, Ind AS, GST, TDS, Income Tax, FEMA, transfer pricing and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage statutory, internal and tax audits as well as group‑level finance reviews.
• Oversee treasury operations, cash‑flow management, working‑capital optimisation and fund utilisation.
• Partner with business leaders on profitability, cost optimisation and strategic finance projects.
• Drive finance process automation, MIS improvements, ERP implementation and reporting standardisation.
• Centralise and harmonise finance processes across group companies.
• Handle inter‑company transactions, overseas remittances and transfer‑pricing coordination.
• Maintain relationships with banks, auditors and external advisors, and support corporate structuring and due‑diligence activities.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks and international accounting standards.
• Proven track record in managing audits, treasury functions and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
