Internal Medicine Physician

About the role

eNext ICU is seeking a full‑time Internal Medicine Physician to work on‑site in Prayagraj. The physician will deliver comprehensive adult care, with a special focus on critically ill and high‑dependency patients, while collaborating closely with the tele‑ICU command centre.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thorough clinical examinations, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in adult patients.
• Order, interpret and act on diagnostic tests, developing evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with ICU teams, specialists, nursing staff and tele‑ICU clinicians.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to continuous care‑process improvement.

Required profile

• MD/DNB in Internal Medicine (or equivalent) with valid local medical registration.
• Strong clinical expertise in adult internal medicine and interest/experience in critical‑care environments.
• Proven ability to work within multidisciplinary teams, including tele‑ICU staff.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice, patient safety and quality improvement.
• Willingness to work in a high‑acuity setting, adapt to evolving protocols and engage in ongoing training.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Comfort using audio‑video communication tools for tele‑ICU collaboration.
