Internal Auditor

About the role

Gravita India Ltd, a global leader in recycling and waste management, is seeking an Internal Auditor to strengthen its internal control environment across manufacturing and corporate functions. The role involves conducting audits, identifying risks, and supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform process, operational, compliance, and management audits across plant and corporate areas such as P2P, OTC, F&A, HR, Admin, Production, Material Management, and Plant Maintenance.
• Develop audit programs, checklists, and risk‑based procedures in line with the approved audit plan.
• Verify adherence to SOPs, Delegation of Authority, company policies, and internal controls.
• Identify control weaknesses, inefficiencies, fraud risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans.
• Collaborate with management to implement control measures and process enhancements.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, accounting standards, and industry best practices.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and conduct periodic inventory audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑5 years of relevant internal audit experience.
• CA or CA (Inter) qualification.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP.
