Internal Auditor – Group Junior Internal Auditor/Controller

About the role

Valtech is looking for a Group Junior Internal Auditor/Controller to support the execution of its internal audit plan. You will work under the guidance of the Group Senior Internal Audit Lead, performing testing, gathering evidence and documenting results to strengthen the internal control environment across business units.

Key responsibilities

• Perform walkthroughs, control testing and substantive testing as assigned.
• Gather, organize and analyse evidence (documents, data extracts, system reports) to support audit conclusions.
• Document work performed clearly in work papers and flag control gaps or anomalies.
• Help map and document business processes and control points.
• Draft initial findings summaries, root‑cause analysis and potential recommendations.
• Monitor the status of findings and support remediation testing.
• Participate in external auditor reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field.
• 8+ years of overall professional experience with 0‑3 years directly in audit, accounting, finance or controls.
• Exposure to a Big 4 or corporate internal audit environment is a plus.
• Chartered accountant qualification is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of internal‑control concepts and audit terminology.
