Internal Audit Manager – Financial Services (Advisory) – Mumbai

About the role

PwC is looking for an Internal Audit Manager to lead end‑to‑end internal audit services for financial services clients in Mumbai. You will work within the Advisory line, helping clients optimise governance, risk and control frameworks while leveraging AI‑enabled audit tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and transform internal audit functions, including co‑sourcing, outsourcing and managed services.
• Assess financial statements, internal controls and compliance with regulations, providing independent, objective assurance.
• Integrate cyber‑forensics, data analytics and emerging risk technologies into audit engagements.
• Build strong client relationships, manage teams and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in internal audit, risk management or related advisory services.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, governance and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to navigate complex situations, anticipate client needs and deliver high‑quality insights.
