Interior Design Faculty

About the role

INSD Kolkata is seeking a full‑time Interior Design Faculty to join its design institute. The role involves delivering both theory and practical sessions, mentoring students on projects, and contributing to curriculum development in a vibrant, on‑site environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct lectures and studio classes covering interior design fundamentals and advanced topics.
• Guide students through design projects, portfolio creation, and studio work.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, examinations, and evaluate student performance.
• Organise workshops, site visits, showroom tours, and facilitate industry interactions.
• Maintain academic records, submit reports on time, and participate in institutional events.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in interior design, architecture, space planning, retail, exhibition, or furniture design.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience in a recognized educational institution.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Creative thinking, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to mentor students.
