Insurance Sales Team Lead – Lending

About the role

Own sourcing and growth of the insurance business within Paytm’s lending portfolio. Build and lead a team of Field Sales Executives to drive acquisition, conversions and sustained insurance volume.

Key responsibilities

• Source and grow insurance business for the lending team through field and partner channels.
• Hire, onboard, coach and manage Field Sales Executives to meet sourcing and conversion targets.
• Set daily/weekly plans, track pipeline and drive team productivity.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners and internal lending stakeholders.
• Ensure process compliance, lead quality and accurate reporting.
• Identify market opportunities and share ground‑level insights with leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in insurance, lending or financial services sales or sourcing.
• Prior people‑management or team‑lead experience (hiring and managing field teams is a plus).
• Strong field sales, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Comfortable with targets, reporting and working in a fast‑paced lending environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed for sourcing and team oversight.
• Graduation completed.
