About the role

Shaw Motors, a leading distributor of Tata Motors vehicles, is seeking a full‑time Insurance Sales Agent to join its Mumbai team. In this on‑site position you will engage directly with customers, understand their insurance requirements and guide them to suitable products.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with customers to assess their insurance needs and recommend appropriate policies.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals, ensuring accuracy of policy terms and coverage options.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, handling queries and providing ongoing support.
• Identify new sales opportunities and work towards achieving individual sales targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing of policies and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Proven sales and negotiation abilities with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong customer service and relationship‑management skills.
• Analytical mindset to evaluate client needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Basic knowledge of insurance policies, terms and coverage options.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and goal‑oriented.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of insurance products and policy structures.
