Infrastructure Engineer – Cloud Migration

About the role

The Infrastructure Engineer will lead the implementation and support of core IT infrastructure while driving the migration of on‑premises environments to AWS. You will own both on‑prem and cloud infrastructures during the transition, ensuring stability, performance and security.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain physical and virtual servers (Hyper‑V, EC2).
• Support high‑availability, performance monitoring and patching of server infrastructure.
• Administer on‑prem Active Directory, OUs, group policies and domain services.
• Manage backup and recovery using Veeam for virtual and physical workloads.
• Provision and manage AWS resources such as EC2 instances, RDS databases, S3 and EBS storage.
• Support VPN configurations, troubleshoot connectivity (SoftEther VPN, Microsoft Global Secure Access).
• Maintain network equipment including Unifi switches and access points; optionally administer SonicWall firewalls.
• Monitor infrastructure health with PRTG and AWS CloudWatch, perform OS and application patching, and handle incident response.
• Ensure backup integrity testing and disaster‑recovery readiness.
• Manage user access, group memberships and license assignments in Microsoft Entra ID and support SharePoint Online.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT support, system administration or infrastructure engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving and customer‑focused communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and follow cybersecurity best practices.
