Infrastructure Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Administrator to own and improve the technology environment that supports a critical 24/7 operation. The role is based in Kochi and requires hands‑on management of both cloud and on‑premises platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and refine hybrid infrastructure standards across multiple sites.
• Manage cloud (Azure) and on‑premises resources, identity systems, networks, monitoring, backups and security controls.
• Conduct capacity, availability and performance planning to pre‑empt outages.
• Develop, test and maintain backup, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity processes meeting defined RTO/RPO targets.
• Establish monitoring and alerting with clear thresholds, owners and runbooks.
• Plan modernization and migration for mixed‑technology environments, removing single points of failure.
• Document infrastructure decisions, configurations and dependencies.
• Collaborate with operations, development, data, cybersecurity and IT management teams.
• Manage vendors, balancing cost, reliability and supportability.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation to support 24/7 operations.

Required profile

• Practical experience managing business‑critical IT infrastructure in hybrid environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, on‑premises and hybrid architecture.
• Ability to explain technical decisions in business terms.
• Experience handling technology vendors and service providers.
