Infra Storage - Manager

About the role

Sun Pharma is looking for an experienced Storage Administrator to lead the design, deployment and management of its enterprise storage infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. The role focuses on delivering secure, high‑performance storage solutions that meet the strict regulatory requirements of the pharma and life‑sciences sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable SAN, NAS and object‑storage solutions aligned with business needs.
• Plan and execute storage upgrades, migrations and hybrid cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Oversee daily storage operations, including provisioning, performance tuning, troubleshooting and lifecycle management.
• Automate routine tasks through scripting and management tools.
• Ensure data security and compliance with GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and HIPAA through encryption and access controls.
• Collaborate with QA/RA teams to support validation, audit readiness and long‑term data retention for R&D, manufacturing and clinical trials.
• Define governance policies, manage vendor relationships and negotiate support contracts.
• Develop and test disaster‑recovery and backup strategies to guarantee data resiliency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise storage architecture and administration, preferably in a regulated pharma or life‑sciences environment.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA).
• Hands‑on experience with storage hardware, virtualization and cloud platforms.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally.
