Information Technology Specialist

About the role

The Information Technology Specialist will ensure the reliability and performance of our IT systems and infrastructure. You will work closely with internal teams to resolve technical issues quickly and continuously improve the technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and optimise servers, networks, and related infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system‑related incidents and provide timely support to users.
• Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and security patches.
• Maintain system security, access controls, and data‑protection measures.
• Document configurations, processes, and technical procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams on system upgrades and enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and a structured approach to problem solving.
• Attention to detail in system management and documentation.

Required skills

• Operating systems: Windows and Linux.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience with system monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of IT security practices and access‑control mechanisms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
