Industrial Engineer

About the role

The Industrial Engineer will optimize productive resources, improve work methods and lead improvement projects that support Grupo PiSA’s strategic goals in the health sector. You will work closely with production teams to increase output while reducing costs.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the quality system and GMP standards.
• Design and execute improvement projects aimed at boosting production and lowering expenses.
• Calculate installed and utilized plant capacity for monthly and annual production plans.
• Analyze variation reports to minimize waste, machine downtime, and labor inefficiencies.
• Maintain and update manufacturing standards within the internal system.
• Provide data for Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) indicators.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in industrial engineering or similar roles.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, line balancing, and problem‑solving methodologies.
• Familiarity with SMED and Theory of Constraints.

Required skills

• Intermediate Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Lean tools: Kaizen, Poka‑yoke, 5S, visual management, line balancing.
• Problem‑solving tools: 5 whys, fishbone diagram, Kepner‑Tregoe.
• SMED methodology.
