Industrial Application Engineer

About the role

Join Bosch Rexroth India as an Industrial Application Engineer and provide technical support to the sales team for industrial drive and control solutions. You will work on the full project lifecycle, from pre‑order proposals to post‑order documentation and customer approval.

Key responsibilities

• Assist sales in generating RFQs and assess qualification and risk of opportunities.
• Prepare techno‑commercial proposals, including schematics, bill of materials and cost sheets.
• Handle post‑order technical activities, documentation and obtain customer approvals.
• Gather market intelligence, identify business potential and contribute to long‑term strategy.
• Develop new technical solutions, applications and prototypes, documenting all stages.
• Coordinate with customers, cross‑functional teams, business units and vendors throughout projects.
• Maintain project documentation such as loss order analysis and lessons learned.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate with a strong interest in industrial hydraulics, electric drives and automation.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Good communication skills for liaison with customers and internal teams.

Required skills

• Technical documentation preparation.
• Prototyping and concept proof‑out.
• Understanding of schematics, BOM and cost estimation.
