Indirect Tax Analyst (GST & Customs)

About the role

We are looking for an Indirect Tax Analyst to join our team in New Delhi. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with GST, VAT and customs regulations while delivering high‑quality tax reports and insights for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, file and review GST, VAT and customs returns for assigned clients.
• Generate analytical reports and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with client finance teams to secure timely tax payments and approvals.
• Maintain a detailed filing calendar to meet all statutory deadlines.
• Support tax audits, conduct research and contribute to special projects.
• Update the Knowledge Management database with regulatory developments.
• Create and share content from external seminars and networking events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1‑4 years of experience in indirect taxation within a CA, consulting or legal firm.
• Strong understanding of GST, VAT and other indirect tax processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
