Indirect Procurement

About the role

We are looking for an Indirect Procurement professional to manage end‑to‑end Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) activities for Tata Electronics Private Limited. The role will support the company’s AI‑enabled semiconductor foundry by ensuring timely and cost‑effective sourcing of indirect goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full P2P cycle – requisition validation, purchase order creation, invoice coordination, payment follow‑up and compliance.
• Utilise SAP MM and SAP Ariba to automate processes, run spend analytics and maintain accurate PR, PO and invoice records.
• Drive cost control initiatives and monitor supplier performance, escalating risks that may affect on‑time delivery.
• Create and obtain approvals for purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Ensure PO acknowledgements from suppliers and keep delivery schedules up‑to‑date in SAP.
• Expedite critical orders and resolve procurement exceptions to avoid supply disruptions.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Warehouse and Finance teams to guarantee material receipt, inventory availability and timely vendor payments.
• Generate procurement reports and insights to support data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing indirect procurement or P2P processes.
• Strong understanding of supplier management, cost control and compliance.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams such as Logistics, Finance and Operations.
