India Markets Derivatives Trader – GIFT City

About the role

BCI is building its India derivatives platform in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City). The India Markets Derivatives Trader will join the Capital Markets & Credit Investments team to execute and manage the firm’s India derivatives program across on‑shore and GIFT City markets.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and oversee Single Stock Futures, Index Futures and Total Return Swaps transactions.
• Manage collateral, margin, and clearing processes, ensuring compliance with RBI, SEBI and IFSCA regulations.
• Conduct fair‑value calculations, OTC swap pricing and corporate‑action analysis for single‑stock companies.
• Lead engagements with custodians, clearing members, exchanges and other service providers.
• Monitor trade life‑cycle, roll positions and maintain end‑to‑end trade management.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of NSE and NSE‑IX market structures.
• Deep understanding of Single Stock Futures, Index Futures, Total Return Swaps and corporate‑action processing.
• Experience with margin, collateral frameworks and FPI regulations.
• Familiarity with RBI, SEBI and IFSCA derivative rules.
• Ability to work standard and non‑standard GIFT City office hours.
