Inbound/Outbound Caller – University Admissions

About the role

Kalinga University is seeking a full‑time Caller to support its admissions team. Based on the Bhilai campus, you will interact with prospective and current students, parents, and other stakeholders, providing clear information about programs, admissions procedures, and university services.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, answering queries about courses, entry requirements, fees, and campus facilities.
• Record call outcomes accurately and update the CRM system or call logs.
• Follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns and assist with admission drives.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department.
• Maintain professional telephone etiquette and meet daily call‑handling targets.

Required profile

• Strong verbal communication in clear, professional English and local languages.
• Ability to manage high call volumes, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a structured environment.
• Minimum high school diploma; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Previous experience in a call‑center, admissions, telecalling, or customer‑support role is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on‑site and collaborate with admissions, academic, and administrative teams.
