In-service Systems Engineer - Electrical Systems

About the role

We are looking for an In‑service Systems Engineer specialized in Electrical Systems to join our Airbus commercial aircraft support team in Bangalore. You will act as the “Voice of the Customer” and provide technical assistance on the complete in‑service fleet, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to daily engineering queries from airlines regarding ATA20/92 EWIS, electrical harnesses, and related components across the Airbus commercial fleet.
• Provide on‑site or virtual assistance to airlines and their representatives, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
• Analyse reported in‑service events to assess impacts on safety, airworthiness, reliability, cost, and passenger/crew comfort.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Design Office, Continued Airworthiness, AOG Technical Center, Programs, Manufacturing, and external vendors.
• Document and communicate technical findings and recommendations in clear written and oral reports.

Required profile

• 4‑year degree in Electrical Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in aerospace electrical systems or in‑service engineering.
• Knowledge of airline operations and experience with ATA20/92 EWIS.
• Strong interpersonal skills, customer‑focused attitude, and ability to work in multicultural, multi‑functional teams.
