In-Service Airworthiness Engineer (CVE/DAE)

About the role

The Airworthiness and Certification Department at Airbus India seeks an experienced engineer to be trained as a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) and Designated Airworthiness Engineer (DAE) for repair airworthiness approval. You will work in a global "follow‑the‑sun" team supporting the entire Airbus in‑service fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Review repair dossiers, verify compliance with EASA Part 21 and approve repairs as a DAE or issue refusals.
• Manage AMOC acceptance dossiers with Chief Airworthiness Engineers and authorities.
• Support Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations as an airworthiness specialist.
• Report airworthiness issues and contribute to continuous improvement of the repair approval process.

Required profile

• Graduate or post‑graduate in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
• 6‑13 years of experience in structures or systems engineering, preferably on Airbus products.
• Fluent English with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work shifts, including stand‑by support, and collaborate in a multicultural team.

Required skills

• Experience with stress analysis and fatigue‑damage‑tolerance (F&DT) for structural repair approval.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems design and certification processes.
• Familiarity with SRM, NTM, Service Bulletins (SB), Airworthiness Directives (AD), Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Component Data List (CDL) and MMEL.
• Understanding of configuration management and EASA Part 21 regulations.
