ICU - Staff Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit in Guindy, Chennai. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to critically ill patients, supporting medical teams, and ensuring smooth operation of the ICU environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and continuously monitor patients' conditions, documenting symptoms and medical history.
• Administer medications and treatments while observing for side effects and reactions.
• Coordinate with medical officers during patient care and assist in procedures or surgeries as required.
• Operate and monitor ICU equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
• Track and manage medical stock levels within the department.
• Liaise with diagnostic services such as laboratory, radiology, scan, and endoscopy for timely investigations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ICU nursing.
• Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (DGNM) or B.Sc. Nursing with ICU experience.
• Age below 35 years.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced, critical care setting.

Required skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring in intensive care.
