ICU Staff Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Staff Nurse to join our critical care team. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to critically ill patients, monitoring vital signs, managing complex treatments, and collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary staff.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously assess and monitor patients’ vital signs and clinical status.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and operate advanced equipment such as ventilators.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in coordination with the healthcare team.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including resuscitation and code situations.
• Provide clear communication and emotional support to patients’ families.
• Maintain and troubleshoot ICU equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a B.Sc or GNM qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under high‑stress, fast‑paced conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Operation of ventilators and other ICU technology.
• IV therapy and medication administration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
