ICT Design Engineer – Airport Terminal Building

About the role

We are looking for an ICT Design Engineer to lead the design of information‑communication technology systems for a new airport terminal building and associated data centre. The role involves delivering concept, scheme and detailed designs while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop ICT design solutions covering telecommunications space planning, rack sizing, heat‑load calculations and IT power demand.
• Create site‑wide network architectures for wired, wireless, voice, data, digital signage, IP telephony, SMATV/IPTV and structured cabling.
• Prepare tender specifications, design basis reports and ensure compliance with authority and telecom provider guidelines.
• Integrate master systems such as security surveillance, access control, public address, building automation and PLC/SCADA.
• Utilise BIM tools (3D modelling, clash detection, Navisworks, BIM 360) to coordinate designs and resolve conflicts.

Required profile

• 2–10 years of experience in ICT design for airport terminals, data centres or large campus projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics & Telecommunication or related field; technical certifications are a plus.
• Strong understanding of global telecom standards (ANSI/TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC, BICSI) and data‑centre tier ratings.
