HVAC BIM Modeler

About the role

Assystem is seeking an experienced HVAC BIM Modeler to create detailed 3D HVAC models for chilled water, ducting, VRF and related systems, and to ensure seamless coordination with other disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D HVAC models (chilled water, ducting, VRF, etc.) using Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Perform clash detection with Navisworks to resolve conflicts with structural, architectural, and other MEP services.
• Generate shop drawings, installation drawings, and technical layouts.
• Ensure models comply with project specifications, industry standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA) and BIM execution plans.
• Extract material schedules, equipment lists and quantity take‑offs (BOQ) from the model.
• Coordinate with project teams, engineers and site personnel to update models based on revisions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Typically 5–10 years of experience in HVAC modeling with proficiency at LOD 300–400.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical design principles and relevant building codes.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills for interdisciplinary coordination.
