Human Resources Specialist

About the role

The Human Resources Specialist will manage daily HR operations for Sierra Living Concepts Inc., a California‑based furniture retailer. Based in Jodhpur, this full‑time, on‑site position supports onboarding, offboarding, benefits coordination, payroll documentation and compliance with local labour laws.

Key responsibilities

• Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining accurate personnel records.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment, payroll documentation, and HR reporting dashboards.
• Support performance management cycles and ensure adherence to HR policies.
• Respond to employee inquiries and assist with employee‑relations initiatives.
• Partner with hiring managers to drive recruitment activities, schedule interviews, and manage offer and joining formalities.
• Prepare and present HR metrics, reports, and compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of core HR fundamentals and best practices.
• Experience handling the full employee life‑cycle in a retail, manufacturing or similar environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment and act impartially.
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English; additional local language is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using HRIS tools for data management and reporting.
