Human Resources Officer (HR Operations)

About the role

The Human Resources Officer will be based on‑site in Alwar, supporting Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital’s mission by managing day‑to‑day HR operations. This full‑time position oversees the complete employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and separation, while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain HR policies in line with organisational culture and regulatory standards.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisal, and exit processes.
• Maintain accurate HR records, documentation, and compliance with local labour laws.
• Handle employee relations, address workplace concerns, and support grievance resolution.
• Develop and update job descriptions and coordinate training and development initiatives.
• Partner with senior leadership to align HR practices with strategic goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; HR certifications are a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in end‑to‑end HR operations, preferably in a hospital, healthcare or social sector.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and compliance requirements for non‑profit organisations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
