Human Resources Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

Ajna Resorts, a forthcoming 5‑star deluxe luxury resort nestled in the Himalayas of Manali, is looking for an experienced, people‑focused Human Resources Manager. You will own the end‑to‑end HR function, shaping strategies, building high‑performing teams and fostering a culture of excellence that aligns with the resort’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Lead recruitment and onboarding across all departments.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve HR policies, processes and best practices.
• Drive employee engagement, performance management and talent development initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with Indian labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Manage employee relations, grievance handling and promote a positive workplace culture.
• Coordinate payroll, compensation, benefits and maintain accurate HR documentation.
• Maintain HR records and HRIS with strict confidentiality.
• Partner with department heads for workforce planning and organisational development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience as an HR Manager or senior HR professional, preferably in hospitality or service industries.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, labour laws, performance management and HR operations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Manali and collaborate with teams across locations.
