Human Resources Manager – Kolkata

About the role

Growthan Media Private Limited, a digital growth agency based in Kolkata, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead its HR function. The role involves overseeing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to retention, ensuring a compliant and engaging workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding processes to meet hiring plans.
• Manage employee engagement initiatives, performance reviews and employee relations.
• Develop, update and enforce HR policies, procedures and compliance with labour laws.
• Coordinate attendance tracking, payroll processing, benefits administration and maintain accurate employee documentation.
• Maintain HR reports, employee records and HRMS data integrity.
• Support training, development and retention programs to foster a positive workplace culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in an advertising, digital marketing or media agency.
• Graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or related field; postgraduate/MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, HR policies and statutory compliance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
