Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead all HR functions for Kaapi Stop’s headquarters and its network of café outlets. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on building a positive, compliant, and high‑performing workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for multiple locations.
• Design, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with Indian labor regulations.
• Manage performance appraisal cycles and drive employee development and training initiatives.
• Handle employee relations, grievance resolution, and engagement activities to foster an inclusive culture.
• Maintain accurate HR records, ensure compliance with labor laws, and coordinate payroll inputs with Finance.
• Support organizational growth plans and collaborate with operations and leadership teams.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee lifecycle.
• Experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and engagement across distributed or multi‑location teams.
• Ability to design HR policies and ensure compliance with local labor and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in HR documentation, HRIS or related systems, and accurate maintenance of employee records.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
• Prior experience in Food & Beverage, retail, or hospitality is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certifications are a plus.
