Human Resources Manager (Hospitality & Service Background)

About the role

Raise, a fast‑growing financial services group, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to build and nurture high‑performing teams across its diverse businesses. The role focuses on hiring, onboarding, and culture development for frontline and support staff in a service‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for frontline staff, instructors, operations, and support roles.
• Design and deliver onboarding programs that reinforce culture and service excellence.
• Drive employee engagement, motivation, and retention in a high‑interaction setting.
• Implement fair performance and feedback processes.
• Set up and manage HR systems, leave, attendance, and shift scheduling.
• Maintain discipline while fostering a warm, supportive workplace.

Required profile

• MBA or postgraduate degree in HR or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality, hotels, wellness, aviation, or similar service industries.
• Hands‑on, on‑ground HR experience with daily operational involvement.
• Service‑mindset that links employee experience to customer experience.
• Ability to manage frontline workforce dynamics, including shift planning and fast‑paced environments.
• Strong ownership, execution focus, and ability to build and run HR functions simultaneously.
• Knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and labour practices relevant to hospitality setups.
