Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist will manage the daily operations of the HR department for TransPerfect in Pune. This role oversees the full employee life‑cycle, ensuring smooth onboarding, off‑boarding, promotions, leave management and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer end‑to‑end employee life‑cycle processes including onboarding, off‑boarding, transfers, promotions and various leave types.
• Coordinate relocation and visa applications, payroll transfers and other cross‑border movements.
• Manage benefit plans in line with local regulations and company policies.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws, overtime, vacation, health & safety and payroll processing.
• Provide timely support and answers to employee and manager queries across multiple locations.
• Identify and propose improvements to internal HR procedures.

Required profile

• Strong autonomy and ability to handle complex HR processes.
• Good understanding of company policies and local employment regulations.
• Experience supporting multiple locations or regions.
• Proactive attitude towards process improvement and compliance.
