Human Resources Administrator

About the role

The Human Resources Administrator will manage end‑to‑end HR operations for a manufacturing plant, supporting talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, statutory compliance, learning & development, and overall HR administration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRMS and manage attendance, leave, and payroll inputs.
• Administer performance appraisal cycles and identify departmental training needs.
• Plan and execute employee engagement, welfare initiatives and grievance handling.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies and prepare HR audit documentation.
• Track recruitment, attrition, absenteeism, overtime, training hours and produce manpower reports.
• Develop, communicate and enforce HR policies, SOPs and audit corrective actions.
• Oversee plant facility administration, vendor management and canteen operations, including contract negotiations.

Required profile

• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or MSW (HR).
• 6–10 years of HR experience in manufacturing, preferably chemicals, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals or process industries.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and factory HR practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRMS platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
