Human Resource Business Partner – HR Strategy & Talent Acquisition

About the role

Chanel is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to support the HR function for its India operations. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will help shape and execute the HR strategy across fragrance, beauty, and fashion businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to define recruitment needs and design effective talent‑acquisition strategies.
• Lead full‑cycle recruitment for retail positions, manage vacancy reporting and ensure data accuracy.
• Organise and execute mass‑hiring events, maintaining diversity and inclusion throughout the process.
• Support employee‑relations matters, including workers’ compensation, attendance, leave management, and conflict resolution.
• Develop and roll out initiatives that boost employee engagement, morale, and retention.
• Conduct onboarding, 1:1 check‑ins, round‑table discussions, pulse surveys, and exit interviews to foster an inclusive culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience partnering with managers on recruitment and employee‑relations issues.
• Strong understanding of HR policies, compensation, and leave administration.
• Ability to drive engagement programs and promote a respectful workplace.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
