Human Factors Training Lead

About the role

The Human Factors Training Lead will drive the creation and delivery of training programmes that embed human‑factors principles across flight operations. This senior role ensures crew and ground staff are equipped to manage the complexities of human behaviour, safety and performance in an aviation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve training curricula that incorporate the latest research, best practices and regulatory requirements for Air India’s operations.
• Promote mental‑health awareness for staff engaged with flight operations.
• Oversee the delivery of human‑factors training programmes, ensuring they are engaging, effective and cover safety, communication, decision‑making and workload management.
• Stay abreast of developments in human‑factors research and implement innovative training techniques to enhance learning outcomes.
• Align group airlines with strategic initiatives and applicable processes.
• Undertake any additional projects or regular work assigned to the role.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading the development and implementation of training programmes.
• Strong knowledge of human‑factors principles in aviation.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for aviation training.
