Hub Agent

Join our global team for a career filled with opportunities to solve challenges both small and large, local and global, simple and complex. We are looking for a Hub Agent for the Navi Mumbai location to support our port services and shipping operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all Hub Agreement related jobs.
• Ensure appointments are handled without delay and assigned to the appointed agent.
• Monitor execution of port calls and work closely with agents and customer‑contracted vendors to meet expectations.
• Follow up local port agents for operational and Disbursement Accounts (DA) requirements.
• Provide ships agency support and advice to customers, the Hub team and Sales.
• Assist and support the WPS network on administrative, technical and commercial issues.
• Use customer‑specific information to proactively promote products and services and find solutions to challenges.
• Assist with conceptualising and pricing of Hub Agreements together with Sales.
• Register and maintain agency agreement information in the IT systems.
• Report and take corrective action with the Key Account Manager or Sales Executive to achieve sales budgets and fulfill contractual obligations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory issues pertaining to Ships Agency.
• Provide regular feedback on technical, service quality and commercial issues to senior Hub managers.
• Gather information to aid investigation and resolution of Final DA Settlement disputes.
• Follow up complaints and non‑compliances through the improvement/complaint system.

Required profile

• Graduation with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills and full fluency in English.
• Experience in ships agency operations or other relevant shipping roles.
• Ability to work independently, systematically and meet deadlines through strong time‑management.
• Proficiency in using company IT systems and platforms for day‑to‑day operations.
• Demonstrated ability to organise tasks, prioritize effectively and maintain high service quality.
