HR Manager – Full‑time (m/f/d) – Pune

About the role

We are launching a new textile facility in Pune and need an experienced HR Manager to lead the full employee lifecycle from day one. You will act as the primary HR partner for management, supervisors, and staff, ensuring smooth operations during the launch phase.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, performance monitoring and employee exits.
• Draft and administer employment contracts, coordinate payroll with external tax advisors and maintain audit‑proof HR records.
• Ensure compliance with labour, payroll tax and social security legislation.
• Serve as the main HR contact for internal stakeholders and external authorities.
• Drive retention, employer branding and employee engagement initiatives.
• Oversee workforce services such as transport, canteen, uniforms and vendor coordination.
• Prepare occupational safety documentation, conduct trainings and coach shift leaders.
• Support the Operations Manager with day‑to‑day HR tasks and safety management.

Required profile

• Commercial training or degree in HR, Law or Business Administration; additional HR qualifications are a plus.
• Several years of experience as an HR generalist, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of labour law, social security and payroll tax.
• Fluent in English; Marathi and/or Hindi desirable.
• Structured, hands‑on, flexible, resilient, discreet and loyal.
