HR Business Partner

About the role

The HR Business Partner acts as a strategic ally to business leaders, aligning people initiatives with overall business objectives. This role oversees talent management, employee engagement, performance cycles, workforce planning and employee relations while ensuring compliance with policies and labour laws.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and deliver HR solutions that support business goals.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding and workforce planning activities.
• Manage the full performance management cycle, including goal setting, reviews and development planning.
• Drive employee engagement programmes and foster a positive organisational culture.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, grievance handling and disciplinary actions.
• Analyse HR metrics, identify trends and recommend improvement actions.
• Implement talent management initiatives such as succession planning and career development.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development teams to address capability gaps.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies and HR processes.
• Support organisational change and transformation projects.

Required profile

• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Talent Management or generalist HR roles.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, employment legislation and performance management practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering abilities.
• Effective communication, interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Ability to analyse HR data and deliver actionable insights.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRMS platforms.
• Advanced use of MS Office applications.
