HR Associate Partner

About the role

The HR Associate Partner supports the management team with a variety of administrative and operational HR tasks. This role ensures accurate attendance tracking, time‑off processing, and documentation for both Amazon associates and staffing agency hires.

Key responsibilities

• Clear flags in systems and assess attendance points for unexcused absences.
• Collect and organize time‑off request forms from managers and associates.
• Obtain manager approvals for vacation requests as required.
• Ensure proper coding of paid and unpaid time categories such as Vacation (vacp), Paid Personal Time (pers), Voluntary Time‑off (vto), and Lack of Work (low).
• Make points corrections for staffing agency and Amazon associates as directed by HR or site leaders.
• Identify, track, and reconcile missing in, out, and lunch punches.
• Clear discrepancies associated with Time Off Task flags with manager approval.
• Enter orientation punches for new staffing agency hires.
• Input corrective action documentation into the Amazon GAPS system.
• Research associate counseling history to confirm correct counseling levels and dates.
• Submit and track counseling documentation for both Amazon and staffing agency associates.
• Print and organize attendance counseling documents for managers.
• Answer associate questions on points, vacation, and personal time balances and help resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with safety and dock audits, production reports, and other ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• At least 6 months of human resources experience.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience.
• At least 6 months of experience using Microsoft Office products.
• Experience working in confidential environments.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
