HR Associate Manager – Sales & Commercial

About the role

The HR Associate Manager will partner with the India Sales HQ, North unit and Net Revenue Management function to drive HR processes, talent management and people development strategies. This role expands beyond traditional HR partnership to support multiple commercial teams and ensure consistent delivery of core HR services across geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Support the HR Business Partner in designing and implementing the people strategy for sales and HQ functions.
• Act as a catalyst for HR performance by translating strategy into concrete actions and measurable results.
• Partner with business leaders to define and execute overall business strategy for North sales, e‑commerce, modern trade and NRM functions.
• Coach senior leaders and provide career guidance for emerging managers.
• Measure and track HR contribution to business performance, including sales productivity and effectiveness.
• Lead the All‑India Sales incentive program and anchor national projects for the commercial team.
• Develop succession plans, people planning and employee engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with COEs and ICC to deliver talent acquisition, talent management and total rewards programs.

Required profile

• 7+ years of post‑MBA experience, preferably from a premier B‑school.
• Prior experience in sales‑focused HR roles is desirable.
• Strong matrix management skills and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Proven change‑leadership, coaching and consulting capabilities.
• Excellent influencing, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
