Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Holiday Inn New Delhi Aerocity is looking for a proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a team of room and public area attendants. You will ensure that all guest rooms and public spaces meet the brand’s quality standards while delivering a warm, memorable experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect the work of assigned room and public area attendants.
• Implement housekeeping standards for bedroom, bathroom, cleaning, and linen services.
• Open and close shifts, manage hand‑overs, and distribute/collect keys.
• Allocate rooms, conduct room inspections, and coordinate with Front Office.
• Handle special projects such as deep cleaning, vermin control, and inventory audits.
• Maintain stock levels, manage storage areas, and ensure timely guest valet delivery.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and briefings for the housekeeping team.
• Escalate unresolved guest complaints and ensure IHG standards are followed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience in a comparable hotel, including supervisory experience or formal training.
