Housekeeping Staff

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Housekeeping Staff member to maintain a clean, hygienic and safe environment across the Drishti IAS campus in Patna. The role supports daily operations by ensuring classrooms, offices, washrooms and common areas are spotless and ready for students, faculty and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitising and general cleaning of assigned areas.
• Prepare classrooms and common spaces before lectures, meetings and events.
• Maintain adequate stock of cleaning supplies and ensure proper usage of equipment.
• Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages or shortages to the reporting manager promptly.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from students, staff and visitors.
• Adhere to organisational cleanliness, hygiene, safety and discipline standards at all times.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of housekeeping, cleaning and sanitation practices.
• Familiarity with proper handling and use of cleaning materials and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify cleanliness or maintenance issues.
• Ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet defined timelines.
• Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual, disciplined, responsible and service‑oriented attitude.
