Housekeeping Executive (Luxury Hotel)

About the role

Oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure all guest rooms and public areas maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in line with Fairmont’s quality guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet Fairmont’s quality standards.
• Supervise, train and mentor housekeeping staff, conducting inductions and performance evaluations.
• Conduct room inspections and quality audits, promptly addressing any deficiencies.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens and equipment, optimizing procurement and stock levels.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to resolve repairs and guest‑reported issues.
• Respond to guest requests and complaints, implementing service recovery measures.
• Maintain records and reports on occupancy, staffing schedules and maintenance logs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations, including chemical handling and waste management.
• Plan and execute deep‑cleaning projects and seasonal maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with front office and other departments for seamless service delivery.
• Monitor departmental budgets, controlling labour and operational costs while maintaining service quality.
• Promote sustainable housekeeping practices and environmental initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of housekeeping management experience in a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality industry standards and quality guidelines.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Proficiency with housekeeping management systems.
• Experience using hotel property management software.
