Housekeeping Associate

About the role

The Housekeeping Associate will work full‑time on‑site in the Greater Madurai Area, ensuring guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces are clean, safe and comfortable. This position is key to maintaining the high standards of hospitality and hygiene expected by guests and the resort.

Key responsibilities

• Make beds, dust, mop, vacuum and replenish room supplies.
• Perform laundry duties including washing, drying and folding linens.
• Clean and maintain public areas and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and report any maintenance issues.
• Follow safety, sanitation and company cleaning procedures.
• Support training of new housekeeping staff and collaborate with other departments.

Required profile

• Strong housekeeping and laundry experience.
• Effective communication and customer‑service skills.
• Good organization and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Willingness to support training activities.
• Attention to detail, reliability and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stand for long periods and operate cleaning equipment.
• Prior experience in hospitality or healthcare facilities is an advantage.
