Housekeeping Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Housekeeping Associate to join the elite team at Vantara Niwas, an ultra‑luxurious resort in Jamnagar. The role involves maintaining impeccable cleanliness and presentation across guest suites, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces, reflecting the resort’s high‑end standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, service and maintain luxury guest suites and public areas in line with brand standards and SOPs.
• Re‑stock rooms with high‑end amenities, fresh linens and comfort items as directed.
• Respond promptly and discreetly to guest requests, inquiries and special preferences.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages or safety hazards to the housekeeping supervisor or maintenance team.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens and guest amenities, reporting shortages or discrepancies.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of guest information and privacy.
• Adhere to safety, health and sanitation guidelines at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a housekeeping attendant or associate in a 5‑star luxury hotel, resort or high‑end hospitality environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a polite, welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining composure and quality.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
• Certification or diploma in Hotel Management or Housekeeping Operations is an added advantage.
