Hotel Electrician (Full-time)

About the role

The Electrician at Crowne Plaza Kochi is a full‑time, on‑site professional responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, wiring and panel work in guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Carry out routine maintenance, repair and preventive maintenance of lighting, power distribution and other electrical systems.
• Inspect, diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, responding promptly to maintenance requests.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical codes and hotel standards while coordinating with the engineering team.

Required profile

• Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and basic electrical engineering principles.
• Hands‑on experience with installation, wiring, and panel work in commercial or hospitality environments.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in an electrical trade; local licensing preferred.
• Understanding of safety protocols, electrical codes and ability to read technical diagrams.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
