Hindi Teacher

About the role

The Hindi Teacher will promote proficiency in the Hindi language and appreciation of its literature and culture among high‑school students. The role involves designing engaging lessons, assessing progress, and fostering cultural understanding as part of a holistic education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Hindi language lessons (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments aligned with curriculum.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Support and mentor students with learning gaps or special needs.
• Promote Hindi literature and heritage through debates, recitations, drama, and cultural programs.
• Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and parents for integrated learning.
• Participate in training, workshops, and staff meetings.
• Maintain student records, discipline, and adhere to school policies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Hindi and B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
• 2–4 years of teaching experience in Hindi at school level (preferred).
• Strong command of spoken and written Hindi.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Patience, empathy, and ability to handle diverse learners.
• Collaborative mindset to work with peers, coordinators, and parents.

Required skills

• Proficiency in basic computer skills (MS Office, digital teaching tools).
