Help Desk Analyst

About the role

Web Jeevan is looking for a motivated Help Desk Analyst to join its IT support team. You will provide technical assistance to both clients and internal employees, ensuring smooth operations and high satisfaction through prompt issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems via phone, email, or remote tools.
• Log, prioritize, and track tickets in the help‑desk system, ensuring timely follow‑up.
• Guide users through software installation, configuration, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Perform system updates, patch applications, and monitor performance.
• Create and maintain knowledge‑base articles and technical documentation.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff while keeping users informed.
• Support security compliance by handling password resets and access management.
• Collaborate with IT teams on new technology roll‑outs and process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a help‑desk or technical support role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude with the ability to remain patient and professional.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting macOS operating systems.
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP and DNS.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
