About the role
The company is looking for a reliable driver to provide safe, prompt and efficient delivery services for its retail stores. You will be responsible for transporting goods weighing between 9,001 kg and 16,000 kg while ensuring items arrive without damage or shortage.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver goods to store locations and clients.
- Keep the vehicle neatly packed and maintain correct quantities.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Supervise and assist with loading to prevent damages.
- Maintain the vehicle, reduce operating costs, and handle delivery note authorizations.
- Collect cash‑on‑delivery (COD) monies and provide customer service.
- Uphold and promote company values and culture.
Required profile
- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Valid Code 10 (heavy vehicle) and Code 8 (light vehicle) licences.
- At least 2 years of relevant driving experience.
