Heavy Truck Driver – Full‑time (Mumbai)

About the role

Almuftah Group is seeking a full‑time Heavy Driver to join its transport team in Mumbai. The successful candidate will operate heavy trucks safely, follow assigned routes and schedules, and ensure timely delivery of goods while upholding the company’s high standards of service and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy trucks on urban and highway routes, adhering to traffic and company safety regulations.
• Load and unload goods, verify cargo integrity, and complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, report maintenance issues, and keep the truck clean and road‑worthy.
• Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Maintain trip logs, report incidents or delays promptly, and support the wider transport team.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A (or equivalent) heavy‑vehicle licence with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving heavy trucks in both urban and highway environments.
• Good communication skills for interaction with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers.
• Basic literacy and numeracy for handling documentation and trip logs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
