Head of Tendering

About the role

Assystem is seeking a senior professional to lead the end‑to‑end tendering and bidding process for its PMC, consultancy and infrastructure projects in Gurugram. The role will oversee identification of opportunities, preparation of technical and financial proposals, and coordination with internal and external partners to secure contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end tendering and bidding process for PMC, consultancy and infrastructure projects.
• Monitor and identify relevant tenders, RFPs, EOIs and RFQs from government, PSU, multilateral agencies and private clients.
• Review tender documents, eligibility criteria, technical requirements and commercial conditions.
• Conduct bid/no‑bid assessments based on eligibility, technical capability, commercial viability, competition and strategic fit.
• Develop tender strategy, bid plans, submission schedules and responsibility matrices.
• Coordinate with technical teams to prepare technical proposals, methodology, work plans and staffing plans.
• Lead preparation and review of EOIs, RFP responses, technical and financial proposals and presentations.
• Coordinate with HR/recruitment to source and format CVs in prescribed RFP formats.
• Review BOQs, financial schedules, professional fees and other commercial components.
• Prepare cost estimates, financial models and commercial bid submissions.
• Manage pre‑bid queries and coordinate responses to client queries.
• Maintain a database of ongoing, upcoming and submitted bids and track outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Management or a related discipline.
• 15–20+ years of overall experience in tendering, bid management or related fields.
